Ethiopia Harrar
Ethiopia produces some of the most unique coffee there is. The Harrar region is known for its beans with winey, full, rich flavor and the resulting brew has a heavy body. The best Harrar coffees offer an intense aroma of blueberries or blackberries.  Because of its fine qualities,  Ethiopian Harrar is often used in espresso.

Ethiopia Yirgacheffe
This is the coffee that those with skilled palates seek.  Ethiopia is the birthplace of coffee and the Yirgacheffe is known throughout the world for its unique taste.  It has a soft sensual fragrance; a sweet, full-bodied, smooth rich flavor, with a finish that lingers just long enough.  Once you've tried the Yirgacheffe, nothing else compares to it.

Guatemala Antigua
The Antigua coffees always score well.  It has a strong, hearty (hint of chocolate) fragrance and a medium body.  Just after you've been drawn in by the aroma of this popular choice, it sneaks in a little spice for a fun kick.  It is a great, well balanced coffee for all day drinking or for that after dinner cup of brew.

Kenya AA
You've seen it, and each time you wonder what the AA stand for, don't you?  The Coffee Board of Kenya has an incredible quality control system for their beans.  Just as in diamond grading, the Kenya system grades beans by their size, shape, and density.  The largest and best beans are AA. One of the first things you notice when pouring a cup of Kenya AA is the subtle floral citrus aroma.  Ahh, with that first swallow you enjoy a full-bodied coffee with a very nice gentle wine flavor.  It's hard to stop with just one cup.

Mexico Altura
Because of it's consistent and dependable taste, this coffee is often used in blends.  Grown in the high volcanica soils of Mexico, the Altura (means high-grown) is very high quality and regarded as one of the finest coffees in Mexico.  Insanely smooth and well balanced it is easy to drink with a mild nutty taste.

Sumatra Mandheling Blue Tiger
The finest bean from Indonesia, this coffee is very heavy with an intense and complex exotic flavor. Those who enjoy the Yirgacheffe and want to step it up in intensity and density go with "the Blue Tiger".

Mocha Java
Pronounced "mock-a" Java for a local landmark, this coffee brings out the best of two worlds!  We combine the fruity flavor of the Ethiopian Harrar with the bold intense flavor of the Sumatra Blue Tiger in this blend. Make sure your shoes are tied because this great cup will knock your socks off!

Modoc's Espresso
Of course we had to develop a unique blend and name it after the coolest elephant in the world!  Three different coffees come together and crash through your palate just as Modoc did to our store back in 1942.  It's actually a light roast with a nice full body.  We use it in all of our coffee bar creations.  Folks around here really like it.  We think you will too.

Nicaraguan High Grown
Nicaragua coffee is classified by altitude and as with all coffees the higher it's grown, the better.  This coffee has a unique creamy-nutty taste and is loaded with flavor and fragrance.    It's a mild coffee with an excellent body.  You won't be disappointed in this great coffee.
